Our quality criteria

DICIS is a member of the BVUZ (Federal Association of Independent Certification Bodies) and is committed to complying with particularly stringent quality criteria at all times.

These quality criteria, which the association has published on its homepage at https://www.bvuz.de/qk/, are as follows.

BVUZ quality criteria

Certifying organizations

are a legal entity or a registered partnership,

have taken out appropriate public liability insurance for all certification activities for personal injury, property damage and financial loss, and

refer to the quality criteria of the BVUZ and to the possibility of lodging a complaint with the BVUZ in the event of non-compliance with these quality criteria on their website and in their contracts with clients.

Offer and contract

Members shall not make an offer to inquirers if

- the amount of the offer could result in an inappropriate economic dependency or
- if the fulfillment of the contract is not ensured over the entire term (going concern principle).

They shall conclude a legally binding contract with the client that

- - ensures that the requirements of the certification standard, the relevant interested parties, the certification office and the quality criteria of the BVUZ are met for the entire period of the certificate and
  - covers the entire scope of the certificate to be issued.

Evaluation, audit, examination

Members

shall, in principle, have separate responsibilities for evaluation, auditing, testing on the one hand and certification decisions on the other hand, and

shall ensure confidentiality of all information obtained.

Independence

Members

- do not offer any services, products or support to an organization or person in advance of a certification that is intended to ensure a positive certification decision or, conversely, that is a prerequisite for a successful certification, and
- are not members of other groups or organizations that exert or could exert an inappropriate influence on the independent conduct of certification procedures.

Authority

Members have defined competence criteria and maintain appropriate qualification of evaluators, auditors, examiners and decision-makers.

Complaints

Any organization or person has the right to file a complaint with the BVUZ if the DICIS Institute, a person employed by the DICIS Institute or a person contracted by the DICIS Institute violates one or more of the points in these quality criteria. The complaint can be submitted directly on the BVUZ website (www.bvuz.de/beschwerden/).

This is how we implement the quality criteria

To fulfill the quality criteria, we have implemented the following organizational measures, among others. The DICIS^® Institute, as the certification body, is organizationally separate from the parent company Innolytics^® AG. Both the software and the training courses are produced and offered by Innolytics^® AG. Certification is carried out by DICIS^®.
